Speaking of this, I saw

last night.  If you accept its premises, it makes a compelling argument
that capitalist countries and "communist" (dictatorship of the proletariat
a.k.a. Leninism) countries are really the same model, and that socialism
has never been tried IRL, and that socialism may not ever even be
possible.  (Aside: I was surprised that the entire design of the Soviet
Union was based only on Marx's The Communist Manifesto and no other Marx
work.  I guess this sorta explains why it was always referred to as
"Marxist-Leninist" because, really, the Soviet Union was all Lenin's
concept.)
