guns through the mail

I didn't know about the history of guns-by-mail, but, with this revision by USPS, it effectively ends some restrictions that were in effect since 1927. Guns are still prohibited from being delivered to non-licensees, which means that, in most cases, those who fail to pass a background check cannot receive a gun by mail. The downside of this is that it could work around some local laws, but the upside is that this may set a precedent for arguing that abortion medications could be sent through the mail legally. https://search.brave.com/ask?q=when+were+guns+available+to+be+bought+and+shipped+by+mail%3F&conversation=0960f3aabd4d78d8fa5fbbe24f83256cd9e2
