ice breaker "scavenger hunt"

Noelle noticed that one person was sitting alone at the Saturday potluck,
and left after about 30 minutes.

I think the "scavenger hunt" idea could be expanded more, and could keep
people more engaged, and also be an ice breaker.  You could take a random
selection of attendees (a list of names) and a list of questions to ask
them, such as where they grew up or their favorite ice cream flavor.  This
way, the "scavengers" would have to find the person (not having name tags
would make it more challenging) and find the answers to the questions.
The person with the most answers from the most people would be the
"winner".

Anyway, just a thought.
