That's actually my size. Which is strange 'cause I thought that you were
slightly shorter than me. :-)

Yeah, sorry. Re: job. The job itself is great; it's the commute that I really
hate. It's about 1 hour 40 mins to go down there, but it's turning out to be
1:55 back! At least I can read and do stuff on the BART-bus-light rail trip.
But spending 3.5 hours a day commuting really eats into my non-work time.
One interesting thing is that my work has a lot of holidays per year. So,
although I don't get paid on those days (since I'm a temp worker), it does
give me a little more free time off. And, in fact, there will be a plant
shutdown the week after Christmas, so I get a week off [to catch up on my
life].
I'm not sure if the group I'm in will survive in the long run. It does almost
pure research and it's not clear if there's a product that the stuff we're
working on will fit into. I guess it depends on the X-mas season. Lots of
electronics sales == good, fewer == bad.
